Troublette
Brewer: Brasserie Caracole
Country: Begium
Style: Witbier
I was to start off this blog with my favorite beer to date: Troublette. I first had this beer last summer on the request of Tim while we at a trip to Joe and Joyce's. We picked it up at Syrdeks. I have also found it at US Liquor. It is a Belgian White Ale and thus falls into an intersection of my favorites- Belgian, white, wheat... it's an obvious favorite. Very complex pale golden Wallonian white ale, extremely perfumed of vanilla and citrus, mangoes, apples, very smooth palate, round flavor with oranges, lightly spicy and fruity acidity. It finishes with slight sourness and dry. Bubbly without being over carbonated. Head lasts for a very long time.
This is a great refreshing beer which is perfect for summer.
